StG and Gentec deal in GasWorld

Scientific and Technical Gases Ltd (StG) has announced today in the GasWorld email news release that the company is now the exclusive distributor for GENTEC equipment in the UK. The Gentec range covers a full range of High Pressure gas equipment, including regulators, gas panels, outlet points and change-over units.

StG is nominated for Business Award

StG is one of three finalists for the 2011 Sentinel International Trade Award. The company, profiled yesterday in the Sentinel, was nominated in response to its continuing growth in overseas markets, including Europe, South America and the Middle East. To read the article, click on the link:

StG Christmas Closing Times

- StG will be closed from the 23rd at lunchtime, until the 28th of December for Christmas. The office will be open for business 9am-2.30pm 28th - 30th December. However, no orders will be shipped or produced until the 4th January 2012.

- StG will also be closed for the New Year Bank Holiday (1st-3rd January 2012) and reopen as normal at 8.30am on Tuesday 3rd January 2012

- The Incident Emergency Response Number for customers is active at all times including Christmas day and over the New Year Bank holiday

Made in the Midlands Awards Dinner 2011

Chris Street, StG's Managing Director, attended the Insider Made in the Midlands Awards Dinner on Tuesday 1st November as a guest of the local Chamber of Commerce. The event was compered by the Rt Hon Michael Portillo and the guest speaker was Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya, KB, CBE.

Pharmaceutical Conference Presentation, 18th November

On 18th November, Chris Street, StG's Managing Director, will making a presentation at the Pharmaceutical Medical Gas Testing Conference at the Village Hotel, Dudley as part of the 2 Day Retraining and Resassessment Course for medical professionals. The presentation is entitled 'Calibration Gases' and covers all issues relating to gas mixtures including storage and transportation. Find out more here.
